14.  Choice D is the correct answer.  The pain is under control which is one of the discharge criteria for kidney stones.  The stone is 6 mm, which is above the 5 mm which decreases the rate of spontaneous passage.  Patients with kidney stones larger than 5 mm can still go home if there renal function is intact.  This patient has acute kidney injury and needs to be admitted, hydrated, and needs this stone to be removed.  An IVP would not be helpful in the management of this patient.
